Count your lucky stars you weren't there! We hit a regular monsoon on the way home and "some people' forgot to pack rain pants = sticky buns...... :shock: .
Good news is the footbridge is fine and all well.

From Ken...

Update on the bridge build.;
We are tentatively scheduling the delivery ( Dave G. ) and assembly of the upper Walian Bridge (B3) for Saturday the 26th of November.
- I have contacted the guy (Barry) who expertly placed the last bridge and he has agreed to come up on the following weekend to fix up the approach and place the bridge for us. ( Saturday the 3rd Dec.)
-The parts are all cut and fabrication/welding/painting will happen next week.
-there's still some work to be done if we can't get a bobcat up there to temporarily fill 10 cross ditches so Dave's truck won't bottom out. We'll have to drag logs down to fill them up a bit.
- I'll also be posting a list of hardware we'll need..nuts/bolts/nails etc if anyone would like to donate to the cause. (Hopefully tomorrow)
-Getting the deck on should go pretty quick as it's only 40 feet and the material is already on site. (sat or Sunday)
Stay tuned!
